Modern Sentiment is the name of my business and my style. It comes from my desire to have clean, modern lines in my house and my décor, but still surround myself with items of personal significance.
It is also one of the driving forces behind my artwork. I am a mixed-media and collage artist, which is a glorified way of saying I collect things! I fell in love with collage in architecture school, when it was assigned as part of a design exercise. Collage allows unlimited combinations of materials and images. It gives me a way to show off the textures, forms, patterns, and patinas I find around me. Check out some of my work here.
